Miss Sugarpuss is the alter-ego of Holly Gauthier-Frankel, a local actor, singer, dancer, writer, producer and impressario of all things musical, theatrical and artistic. Born in 2004, as the result of a volatile combination of vodka and black-tasseled pasties at a raucous gathering of musical theatre actors, the sultry Miss Sugarpuss burst forth to found the now dormant Sugarpuss Burlesque Troupe, and brought sass and shimmying goodness to Montreal’s 2005 Fringe Fest with the runaway hit, ‘Miss Sugarpuss and Her Burley-Q Revue!!!’ and most recently `Miss Sugarpuss Must De!`, Montreal Fringe Festival 2010 winner of the Centaur Theatre Best English Production Award.
